About Latte Stories

Our Concept

Our purpose is to bring together those who travel, offering friendship far from home. We welcome characters from all cultures and walks of life to connect through coffee and conversation. We learn together, we lift and inspire each other.

At our stores, you’ll find a melting pot of cultures, characters and diverse stories represented in everything we do: a brunch menu inspired by cross-cultural flavours, innovations from international cities, and coffee beans we source, learn about and then roast ourselves.

Our Founder

Originally from Hong Kong, Christy lived in international cities such as London, Singapore, Paris, Zürich before settling in a small but pretty cool village called Hünenberg. She developed a strong passion for food and coffee over 10 years ago, while exploring creative restaurants in Hong Kong as part of her food blog, “lolleroll”. With the help of her MBA at INSEAD, she successfully transitioned her professional career from finance to food and coffee, by joining Tim Hortons as the Head of Operations for EMEA & India when she moved to Switzerland in 2020.

Entrepreneurship requires three key elements: motivation, competence and opportunity. With the exciting and beautiful developments around Cham, she finally found the right opportunity to start her own specialty coffee and brunch concept: Latte Stories.

Christy created Latte Stories as a place to celebrate the diverse stories of our community in Switzerland. It is inspired by her experiences of moving across the globe from family and finding a “home away from home” by bonding with the international community here over great coffee and food.
